Very Mummy was over the moon to be asked to review ‘Rosie Rabbit’ a soft toy from the company Beehive Toy Factory.

‘Rosie Rabbit’ made her appearance whilst I was at work and a neighbour took delivery of her. When I went to pick her up, I was a little eager to see her. Photos do not do justice. She is gorgeous.

Rosie was all tucked up in a cosy little white drawstring bag. I lifted her out and I was not disappointed by what I saw.

For starters, Rosie is approximately 30cm tall, the perfect size for little hands to grasp and snuggle into. She has a dainty soft grey embroidered nose, and grey embroidered eyes which compliments her soft snow-white fur and patterned ears pretty well. Her long floppy white ears are soft just like her ears, however underneath they feature a stunning linen fabric. I can only describe it is a delicate spring-like pattern, similar to Cath Kidson, but with an antique finish.

After I admired her beauty, I gave her to my 20-month-old daughter, who took her straight away and nestled her into her neck. She took the ears and stroked them on her face, her eyes falling heavy as if she was going to go to sleep. She has a thing for bunnies, and I am guilty of feeding that obsession.

Rosie is very well made, the shell is made from 90% polyester and 10% cotton. Inside, the wadding is 100% polyester. Rosie can be hand washed if she becomes dirty, although I haven’t had to do this yet.

Rosie is sure to be loved by all who possess her. She certainly fits right in with our bunny collection and is already a firm favourite with my daughter.
